Houston Embassy Suites Has Grand Opening

Property is Aimbridge Hospitality's third managed hotel in Houston and its 10th Embassy Suites flag.

NOVEMBER 19, 2009 - Mac Haik Enterprises, together with Aimbridge Hospitality, introduced the new Houston (Texas) Embassy Suites-Energy Corridor to local dignitaries and the business community last week at a Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting. Mac Haik Enterprises owns the 14-story, 216-room all-suite hotel, located at 11730 Katy Freeway/I-10 at the Gateway to Houston's Energy Corridor.

Aimbridge Hospitality, a Dallas-based hotel real estate and management company that provides renovation, supervision, accounting and consulting services for its strategic partners, manages the property with daily direction provided by Faisal Kamal, General Manager, and Tom Martone, Director of Sales and Marketing. This is Aimbridge Hospitality's third managed hotel in Houston and its 10th Embassy Suites flag.

The property features spacious 216 two-room suites (including 12 signature Embassy Premier Suites, exclusive club-level floors, 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting/function space, a full-service restaurant and lounge, indoor pool with outdoor tanning terrace, and fitness center with state-of-the-art Precor equipment. Guest services include a complimentary full, cooked-to-order breakfast each morning along with a nightly complimentary manager's reception, local area transportation, and much more.

Mac Haik Enterprises, a Houston-based investment company, and parent company to Mac Haik Realty LTD, is responsible for approximately 1.7 million square feet of office building and hotel development in the Energy Corridor. The 197,019 square-foot Houston Embassy Suites-Energy Corridor hotel is part of the Energy Plaza Office Park and ongoing development project that also includes two office buildings totaling 775,000 square feet, which are approximately 98% leased. Energy Tower III, a 17-story, 425,000 square foot office building, which will be a twin Tower to the Energy Tower II is also under consideration and will be located immediately west of the Embassy Suites Houston - Energy Corridor hotel.
