Greg Mount Named President of Richfield Hospitality

Will also oversee Richfield's executive operations

NOVEMBER 17, 2009 - Richfield Hospitality has announced that Greg Mount has joined the U.S. hotel management company as its President. Mount has been a prominent member of the hospitality industry for over 25 years and will bring his extensive experience to Richfield, molding the firm's strategic growth plan that includes acquisitions and third-party management contracts. Mount will also oversee Richfield's executive operations, reservations and revenue management team, responsible for 121 hotels in 44 states.

Mount will play a pivotal role in sourcing and negotiating attractive investment opportunities for Richfield, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnership opportunities, propelling Richfield's aggressive growth initiatives. His comprehensive background in hotel management, operations, sales & marketing, revenue management, development and acquisitions will help to ensure that all owned and managed hotels will perform at their full potential.

Mount has had a distinguished career in acquisitions and operations for global hospitality chains and independent hotel management companies. Since 2007, Mount served as the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for Sage Hospitality, where he executed a number of strategic deals including the off-market acquisition of the Westin Westminster. Prior to joining Sage, Mount was with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, heading up the full-service division responsible for developing franchises and management contracts for the Westin, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, Le Meridien, and Luxury Collection brands in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Before joining Starwood, Mount worked in operations for prominent companies like Interstate Hotels Corporation and Marriott International Hotels, working his way up through various Food & Beverage positions to being a Director of Operations before eventually holding various General Manager appointments.

Mount earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism from LaSalle University and has received significant industry recognition throughout his career.

He, his wife and three children live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
