New Las Vegas Holiday Inn Introduces Forte Grille & Bar

NOVEMBER 6, 2009 - Celebrated Chef Shane Sutton Brought in as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director
Holiday Inn Las Vegas Hotel introduces Forte Grille, a fresh new restaurant concept, located just moments from the strip. With a young, hip energy and ultrachic decor, Holiday Inn Las Vegas is no ordinary Holiday Inn. Likewise, Forte Grille is no ordinary hotel restaurant.

The menu and atmosphere at Forte Grille capture the eclectic spirit of Las Vegas itself - light, playful and full of surprise. The diverse selection delivers Global Fusion Cuisine executed with sound French techniques. The signature Scallop Seduction exemplifies the approach beautifully. Sweet sea scallops are dusted with cream of wheat and quick-seared, then paired with an aromatic bacon and sweet corn risotto and finished with lavender curry cream.

This succulent entree joins an engaging menu of creative fusions and modern updates. Everything from classic shrimp cocktail to steak and fries has been turned up to deliver Forte flavor.

Behind both the menu and concept is celebrated Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director Shane Sutton. Chef Sutton began his culinary career in his native home of Hawaii apprenticing at Le Guignol, today considered one of the top fine dining restaurants in Hawaii. It was here that he developed his creative, yet unintimidating style and his knack for contrasting textures and flavors.

After working as Executive Chef and Owner of Le Guignol for seven years, Chef Sutton moved with his family to Las Vegas in 2005 seeking a new culinary challenge.

Following prestigious positions at several Las Vegas restaurants at the Paris Hotel and Casino and The Palms, Chef Sutton is excited to present a vibrant concept in Forte Grille.
