NOVEMBER 5, 2009 - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announces the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Durham Airport, the brand's fifth hotel in North Carolina and its third in the Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area. Owned and managed by OHM Hotels, the newly constructed hotel offers 105 spacious guest rooms with comfortable beds, a lively social atmosphere and popular complimentary treats such as high-speed Internet access and bottled water.

Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Durham Airport also showcases the brand's refreshed, new look, as part of a global portfolio rejuvenation campaign. In the past five years, Starwood and its partners have invested more than $1 billion to reinvent Four Points by Sheraton resulting in a 70 percent turnover of the portfolio driven by major property renovations, conversions and new-build hotels.
