DELRAY BEACH, FL, November 4, 2009 - The Seagate Hotel & Spa, the first independent luxury hotel in Delray Beach, Florida, is officially open. The new boutique property is located just steps from the beach on East Atlantic Avenue in the town's arts and entertainment district and captures the relaxed-yet-vibrant lifestyle of Florida's Gold Coast with a host of inviting amenities. From the freshest food at Atlantic Grille to an elegant on-site spa and nearby beach club privileges, The Seagate Hotel & Spa is the perfect address for relaxing “staycations,” intimate beach experiences, and stylish weddings and events. With architecture by Randall Stofft of Stofft Architects of Delray Beach, The Seagate Hotel & Spa offers an authentic slice of local life wrapped in a stylish façade that celebrates the relaxed vibe of Delray Beach. The hotel recently hired approximately 200 area residents to tend to all of the property's operations. Interiors by local designer Chris Leighton of the Leighton Design Group create a comfortable and contemporary ambiance mere steps into the lobby, with a 5,000-gallon aquarium populated with colorful sea life, as well as natural elements and sea-inspired fixtures to highlight custom furniture.

Atlantic Grille is poised to become among the most desirable dining destinations in Delray Beach, with seating for 245 indoors and on the terrace. The signature dining experience by Executive Chef Adam Gottlieb, formerly of the Palm Beach Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, highlights a contemporary menu of local seafood, pasta, steak and other seasonal ingredients.
