Rockresorts Appoints Bryan Austin to VP & Area GM

OCTOBER 29, 2009 - RockResorts announced today that Bryan Austin has been chosen as the Vice President and Area General Manager for The Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort and The Lodge at Vail, A RockResort. He will start his new position effective immediately.

Austin joined RockResorts in January of 2008 as the General Manager of the Lodge at Vail, the 165-room resort, which has been the cornerstone of Vail Village since opening in 1962. Before joining RockResorts, Austin served as the President of Resort Operations for the PGA Village at Coyote Springs, Nev. and The Resort at Red Hawk in Sparks, Nev. Previously, Austin spent six years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he held executive positions at The Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn, Mich., The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, Ohio, and The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Calif. He also spent 10 years with The Four Seasons Hotel Company. His time with Ritz-Carlton included successful openings of several hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Colorado.
