St. Regis Bora Bora Names Rowena Tucker Director of Leisure Sales

JUNE 5, 2009 - The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is delighted to announce the appointment ofRowena Tucker to Director of Leisure Sales of the acclaimed property. Rowena, with more thanten years in the hospitality industry, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this position.As Director of Leisure Sales, Rowena is charged with managing and developing the travelindustry sector including Virtuoso and Signature travel agency bookings as well as AmericanExpress Fine Hotels and Resorts in the Southwest and West Coast markets. She will also beresponsible for managing the group market.

Prior to this position, Rowena Tucker served as the Director of Sales at the Hotel Twin Dolphinin Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she reported directly to the Vice President and GeneralManager of Sales and Marketing. In 2006, the hotel generated a 20% growth increase in SalesRevenue year-over-year. In 2007, Rowena participated in the hotel's transition from the TwinDolphin to The Montage. Prior to her time in Cabo San Lucas, Rowena spent almost 3 years as aNational Travel Industry Sales Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in Half Moon Bay,California. At the Ritz-Carlton, Rowena reported directly to the Director of Sales and Marketingand was responsible for managing and developing the travel industry sector, including Virtuoso,travel agency bookings and American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts.

Rowena has also worked with various hotels in Northern California such as the Clift Hotel andThe Omni Hotel in San Francisco and the Fairmont Hotel in both San Jose and San Francisco..She has attended numerous hotel training courses and seminars after completing her studies atSaint Louis University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
