Lanyon Hires Industry Veteran

JUNE 1, 2009 - Lanyon, Inc., the leading, independent provider of RFP, content and procurement automation solutions to the global travel industry, today announced that Michael Boult has been appointed as its Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Boult brings to Lanyon over two decades of experience in global business travel automation and spend management solutions.

Prior to joining Lanyon, Mr. Boult provided independent advisory services to a number of start-up and early stage companies across a variety of industries. From 2005 until 2008, he served as President and CEO of StarCite, Inc., a provider of on demand meeting solutions. Under his leadership, the company grew 500% and he was recognized for this effort with numerous travel industry and spend management awards. Prior to his tenure at StarCite and in 2001, he founded and led eCLIPSE Advisors, the first multi-category travel spend optimization provider. At the time of the acquisition by American Express Business Travel in 2004, eCLIPSE Advisors was managing a combined travel spend portfolio in excess of $13 billion, with product and solutions teams located throughout the US, Europe, Australia and Japan. His career encompasses thirteen years with Rosenbluth International where he led all global supplier and network relations efforts.
