. October 14, 2008

MANZANILLO, Mexico, December 21, 2006. As if travel to Mexico's breathtaking Pacific Coast weren't reward enough, Tesoro Manzanillo now presents its international guests the opportunity to experience all the area has to offer at fantastically discounted prices with the introduction of the Platinum III card.

The Platinum III card is part of a special program to introduce international guests to the wonders of Manzanillo through the portals of the area's finest resort properties. Participating in the program is Tesoro Manzanillo, as well as five-star establishments Barcel'o Karmina Palace and Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina, all located along the stunning shoreline of Peninsula de Santiago in the sailfish capital of the world.

The card, which is automatically furnished free of charge to international guests at check-in, functions as a day pass to any of the participating properties and affords visitors 30% off all food and beverage items purchased while visiting a partner resort.

"To encourage return visits to Manzanillo, we joined forces with top area resorts while implementing the program to give international travelers a broader range of experience," explains Mr. Francisco Zuazua, General Manager of Tesoro Manzanillo. "With the Platinum III card, guests can indulge the luxuries of three outstanding and typically restricted properties while also saving money on food and beverages-it's a wonderful way to sample the atmospheric and culinary flavors at each venue."

Currently available at all three ally properties, the Platinum III card program runs until April 30, 2007 and is available to all non-nationals of Mexico who reserve one night or more at Tesoro Manzanillo, Barcel'o Karmina Palace or Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina. Room, food and beverage rates vary at each participating hotel, as do the kinds of activities offered.

Tesoro Manzanillo is a 331-room resort property that rises above a historic beach in a picturesque cove ideal for snorkeling, boating, kayaking and jet skiing. The hotel grounds cater to all interests and ages, featuring a gorgeous freeform swimming pool, tennis courts and a recently constructed outdoor activities center, waterpark and pool area for children.
