Radisson SAS Opens New Hotel & Spa In Cork, Ireland
BRUSSELS, July 18, 2005. Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of the new 37 million Euro (approx. $45 million U.S.) 129-room Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa Cork, Ireland. This hotel is the ninth Radisson SAS in Ireland.
Built on the site of the 19th Century Ditchley House, the Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa Cork spans over nine acres of land. All rooms offer satellite television, wireless Internet access (WiFi), and 24-hour room service.
The Radisson SAS is the only hotel in Cork City to contain a full-service spa. The Retreat Spa & Fitness Center features nine treatment rooms offering a range of luxurious Elemis treatments, a hydrotherapy pool incorporating massage seats and jets, bubble seats, geysers and loungers, a relaxation suite and gym featuring Precor equipment. The facility also features a children's pool.
The Island Grillroom Restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere for dinner, while the hotel bar offers a wide assortment of drinks and cocktails. The hotel's conference facilities include 11 meeting rooms, a business center and a ballroom accommodating up to 400 guests.
All 145 staff members have been inducted into the 'Yes I Can' service culture - the international standard delivered by all Radisson SAS staff in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
