Marriott Vacation Club Building Villas Within St. Kitts Marriott Resort

ORLANDO, FL, June 21, 2006. Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI), the vacation ownership division of Marriott International Inc. (NYSE:MAR), announced today the development and sales start of its first resort in the West Indies on the island of St. Kitts. Slated for occupancy in January 2007, Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club will be located on-property with the AAA Four Diamond - St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino, and is proposed to include 88, two- and three-bedroom villas (at build-out). Initial pricing ranges from $16,400 to $69,500 per week depending on season and floor plan selected.

In eight, three-story Garden Houses, the spacious villas will range in size from approximately 1,400-2,089 square feet designed with "island life" in mind utilizing a tropical color palette of orange, blues and greens with red accents and touches of yellow and gold. Each villa will feature at least one private balcony or terrace offering stunning views from azure waters and pristine beaches to lush, tropical gardens and native vegetation. Vacationers will savor the relaxing Caribbean spirit in a deep soaking tub in the master suite, as well as other villa features including a fully-equipped kitchen with GE stainless steel appliances and walnut finished cabinetry, tile floors and granite counters; generous living and dining areas; washer/dryer; oversized shower in master suite; multiple Sony flat-panel televisions; Sony DVD players in living room and bedrooms; and Wi-Fi internet accessibility. Three-bedroom villas can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Numerous amenities and concierge services are offered through the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino. Dine at a variety of restaurants catering to everyone's tastes, such as fresh local seafood at Blu or a fine "city-style" steak at the Royal Grille Steakhouse. While relaxing by the pool, owners can enjoy a popular local drink, a "Ting with a Sting!," a simple concoction of locally made CSR Rum & Ting (grapefruit soda) to accompany their lunch at the Bohemia Beach Bar & Grille which has a convenient swim-up bar.
