Sheraton Rockville to Debut This Summer
ROCKVILLE, MD, May 23, 2006. The new 155-room Sheraton Rockville is slated to open this summer in the historic King Farm Community of Montgomery County, MD.
The five-story Sheraton Rockville will have 103 king and 52 double rooms. Each room will have the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, high-speed Internet access and a 32-inch, flat-screen LCD HDTV.
The hotel will have a fitness center, an indoor lap pool and whirlpool, a wired business center and a restaurant/bar. Additionally, there will be 1,008 sf of flexible meeting space that will accommodate groups of up to 80 people.
The Sheraton Rockville will launch the brand's national "Warm Welcome" campaign, which emphasizes personal services and amenities in a "cozy, boutique-sized setting." Guests will be given prepaid postcards and 10-minute phone cards upon check-in and the hotel's staff of "ambassadors" will be readily available to help guests with their needs.
