Radisson SAS Opens in Vienna
The Radisson SAS Style Hotel is opening in Vienna, formerly The Style Hotel Vienna.
VIENNA, Austria, May 9, 2006. In January 2006, Kurt Ritter, president and CEO of Rezidor SAS, signed a 20-year management contract with the WSF Group, owner of The Style Hotel Vienna. The hotel has now officially been re-branded as the Radisson SAS Style Hotel Vienna.
The hotel was named to Cond'e Nast Traveler's 10th annual "Hot List" of the best new hotels in the world, as selected by the magazine's discriminating editors in the May 2006 issue. The magazine praised the hotel's "exceptionally well-drilled staff," "excellent Italian restaurant" and "relaxing" d'ecor.
Luxurious yet comfortable, The Radisson SAS Style Hotel Vienna, which is housed in a converted art deco townhouse, features international design with a Mediterranean influence. The hotel offers 78 individually-designed guest rooms, including 17 suites, all with the latest technology including flat screen satellite televisions, DVD players and wireless high speed Internet access. The hotel also features the gourmet restaurant 'Sapori,' offering Italian cuisine, and the H12 Wine Bar, offering a special selection of Austrian and Italian wines.
