Rebranding For Luxury Hotel Group

. October 14, 2008

UNITED KINGDOM, March 21, 2006. The Eton Collection is delighted to unveil its group re-branding. The decision reflects the company's transition from one individual hotel to an internationally recognised hotel group. 'Chic, Unique' and 'Boutique' embody the Eton Collection's image, strengths and market positioning.

Started in 1998 by hotelier and businessman Peter Tyrie, today The Eton Collection boasts five luxury boutique hotels and two five-star restaurants in city centres across the UK. Having orchestrated the buyout of Gleneagles Plc and spearheaded the floatation of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 1987, Peter bought a wealth of international experience to the purchase of the first hotel in the Collection, The Colonnade in Maidavale. From here the Eton Collection has grown exponentially and continues to do so. Peter Tyrie wants the re-branding of the group "to reflect the Eton Collection's prestigious position in the market and our continuing dedication to luxury and excellence."
