Denihan Acquires Fitzpatrick Chicago
CHICAGO, IL, March 09, 2006. The Denihan Hospitality Group, which owns and manages six New York hotels, has made its first deal outside the city, acquiring the Fitzpatrick Chicago.
Denihan, which operates the Affinia and Benjamin brands in New York, acquired the 143-room Fitzpatrick for an undisclosed amount. No decision has been made on re-branding the hotel.
The property is centrally located on East Superior St., off Michigan Ave. Ireland-based Fitzpatrick operates three other U.S. hotels, all of which are in New York.
