The Tides Playa Del Carmen to Debut Spring 2008
MAYAN RIVIERA, Mexico, February 27, 2006. Kor Hotel Group, the Los Angeles-based luxury hotel and resort operator, extends its distinctive fusion of imaginative design, exceptional service and exclusive community amenities to a second project on the Mayan Riviera with the creation of The Tides Playa del Carmen.
Ground-up construction of this premier, oceanfront residential property is scheduled to commence fall 2006 and set for completion spring 2008. Located on the largest beachfront property within Playa del Carmen, The Tides will comprise an eight-acre urban retreat in this lively community often referred to as "the style capital of the Riviera Maya." The exclusive enclave will house 190 deftly-designed luxury resort residencies, ranging from 800 to 2,800 square feet and available as studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom units. Ninety percent will offer unobstructed ocean views. The resort will also offer a pool with destination bar-lounge, a private Beach Club with fine-dining restaurant and a world-class, 10,000 square-foot spa and fitness center appointed with roof-top treatment rooms.
