WHITE PLAINS, NY, February 21, 2006. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened the 150-room Sheraton Midwest City Hotel & Conference Center. The hotel is owned by the City of Midwest City, OK, and managed by Arlington, TX-based De Palma Hotel Corp.

Situated six miles from Oklahoma City, the hotel is attached to the 60,000-square-foot Reed Center, a convention facility that features state-of-the-art technology.

The hotel utilizes the Sheraton prototype design, which was created to serve key suburban markets. It's the second Sheraton prototype hotel to open, the first being the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown, which opened last December.

This prototype features the new Sheraton guest room, including the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed.
