Special features in the hotel include wooden screens in the bathrooms, Mediterranean style headboards, terracotta floor tiles and carefully selected artwork that again reflect the Moorish era. Modern features to the hotel include flat screen televisions, high-speed internet access, mini-bar, full sized bathtub and separate walk in shower.

The hotel's restaurant, NOMAD, is an elegant, contemporary venue offering a variety of worldwide cuisine and an a la carte menu. Named to create the ambience of a Mediterranean refuge, this all-day dining restaurant will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a visible kitchen element to one side of the restaurant and an open terrace and patio area to the other. Decorated with wooden floors, seaside tones of blue and sand, along with an open fireplace, NOMAD creates a calm atmosphere.

The resort's spa was designed in conjunction with ESPA, the world-renowned spa specialists, famous for creating relaxing, unique spa environments. Pure colours and natural materials accentuate the warm, welcoming feeling of the resort. The spa offers a range of holistic treatments including ESPA hot stone signature treatments, intensive facials, body massages and body wraps. Facilities include a Zen studio, relaxation rooms, vitality pools and steam showers. There will be suites available that have been specially designed for couples to share or guests can book simultaneous treatments of their choice, so partners or friends can enjoy the experience together.

Golf is another key feature of the resort, the hotels' course was originally designed by Dave Thomas as a nine hole, par 36 course. The course is due to be transformed into an 18 hole course by the end of 2007. The course commits to challenging it's players and offers a variety of holes, with high quality practice facilities, complete with driving range, if needed. The Golf Club Lounge invites, players after a round, to relax in the red leather lounge armchairs or out on the terrace bar seating area. Guests can also have access to the La Torre Golf Course, which is also due to open in June 2006. The course will be an 18 hole par 68, championship course by the Nicklaus Design company and will boast 5359 metres of lush green landscape, holes that run alongside lakes and five hectares of elaborately sculpted bunkers.
