Kahala Hotel Goes Independent
HAWAII, January 23, 2006. Kahala Hotel Investors will rename the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii when the property will become The Kahala and management of the resort will be turned over to Landmark Hotels.

Landmark has managed a number of Trinity assets in the past. It has operated independent and branded hotels under franchise agreements for over 23 years.It has been a luxury hotel operator in Hawaii and Arizona, and is now involved in hotel operations in Mexico. In Hawaii, Landmark operated The Kea Lani Resort, Villas and Spa from 1992 to 2001. During that time, The Kea Lani became one of the leading luxury resorts in Hawaii, in both market share and profitability.
