HOUSTON, TX, January 5, 2006. Benchmark Hospitality International, which manages 30 award-winning resorts, conference centers and hotels in the United States and Japan, announced today the addition to its management portfolio of the landmark Glen Cove Mansion & Conference Center, located in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York.

"The Glen Cove Mansion & Conference Center is a remarkable property with a long tradition of hospitality to New York-area corporate and leisure guests," said Burt Caba~nas, founder, chairman & chief executive officer of Benchmark Hospitality International. "Situated in a classic and historic Glen Cove mansion, it was one of the country's first dedicated conference centers and has a legacy of hospitality in New York and nationally. We welcome this magnificent property and its dedicated employees to the Benchmark Hospitality family."

The Glen Cove Mansion & Conference Center is situated on a 55-acre estate on Long Island's North Shore, 30 minutes from New York City. Originally the country residence of John Pratt, an attorney and executive for Standard Oil Company, and his wife Ruth, a Congresswoman from New York, the palatial Georgian-style mansion opened in 1910 and was known as The Manor. It was considered at the time by Country Life Magazine as one of the "best twelve country houses in America." The property was representative of the many glamorous estates that comprised Long Island's Gold Coast.

In 1967, The Manor was converted into one of the nation's first dedicated conference center hotels. Wings with additional guestrooms and suites were added in 1984. Throughout the conversion and expansion the property maintained its elegant Georgian ambiance and manicured gardens, which remain in place for guests to enjoy.

Today the Glen Cove Mansion & Conference Center features dramatic architectural reminders of the turn-of-the-last-century coupled with the contemporary amenities and technology required by 21st Century business, leisure and social guests. The property offers 196 richly appointed guestrooms, including four suites, the elegant Garden Room Restaurant, a pub, private dining rooms and outdoor reception areas overlooking the mansion's gardens. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the property. Also provided are a fitness center, sauna, steam and massage rooms, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, garden swimming pool, racquetball courts, bowling alley, lighted tennis courts, jogging trail and sports field. Golf is available nearby. The property is the recipient of numerous service awards.

The Conference Center features 25,000 square feet of event and meeting space, with 27 dedicated conference rooms accommodating from 10 to 280 guests, advanced meeting technology, an executive business center and conference concierge services.
