Bookings Begin at the Regent South Beach

. October 14, 2008

MIAMI, FL, January 4, 2006. As The Regent South Beach nears completion on Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue, Miami's two most vibrant boulevards, it announced that as of today, it is officially open for reservations. The sophisticated new Regent has already captured local attention for its sprawling private terraces accentuating all 80 guest suites, its kinetic facade, and the east coast debut of its signature celebrity restaurant, Table 8.

From top to bottom, The Regent South Beach offerings blend the best of South Beach style with the refinement of Regent International Hotels standards. Suites are filled with lavish furnishings, Bose surround sound stereo systems, and personal espresso machines. Balconies (a South Beach rarity)measure a minimum 200 square feet and climb to an expansive 700 feet on the 27 penthouse rooftop terraces. Each rooftop terrace is outfitted with a Roman hot tub, wet bar, surround sound entertainment, and facilities for sunning, dining, entertaining and spa treatments, as well as ocean or city views.

Especially indulgent are The Regent South Beach's culinary offerings. The signature restaurant, Table 8, has quickly emerged as L.A.'s most fawned-over venue since it opened in September 2003, attracting enough critics and celebrities to transform Chef Govind Armstrong into a celebrity himself. In his new outpost, Chef Govind will be serving his market-fresh cuisine in the Regent's invigorating restaurant space, set directly under the hotel's stylish glass-bottom pool. As The Regent South Beach suites and balconies are designed with entertaining in mind, an elaborate en-suite dining menu allows guests who value their privacy to enjoy Table 8 creations with private butler-style service.
