. October 14, 2008

STORM LAKE, IA, December 6, 2005. Leisure Hotels & Resorts has been named by the City of Storm Lake, IA, to manage The Lodge at Storm Lake and its adjoining water parks, the cornerstone of Project Awaysis, an economic development and master plan project.

In addition to managing, operating and marketing The Lodge and outdoor and indoor aquatic centers, Leisure Hotels will assist with the design, technology and functionality, staffing and other pre-opening issues. Construction on the complex is expected to begin in the spring 2006.

Noting that few lakes in Iowa are available for recreation, Steve Olson, president and CEO of Leisure Group of Companies, said that the new resort will "particularly appeal to the growing numbers of young families in the area."

The Lodge will overlook Storm Lake and be built in the arts and crafts style with big beam timbers and a facade of stone, stucco and wood siding. It will have 81 guestrooms, a restaurant and lounge, and 3,000 sf of meeting space. The indoor water park will be attached to the hotel.
