Blythswood Square Spa to Open in September

GLASGOW, Scotland, May 1, 2009 - Matt Laird has been appointed Director of the Spa at Blythswood Square, the luxury five star boutique hotel currently being developed by the Town House Collection in Glasgow.

Matt has considerable experience of the luxury spa market. He joins from ESPA International where he worked on spas at a variety of resorts including The Gleneagles Hotel and The Westin Turnberry in Scotland and the Intercontinental at Mar Menor in Spain.

Blythswood Square is the first of the Town House Collection properties to incorporate a spa and Matt will be response for all aspects from development, design and build liaison to staff recruitment and the selection of the products and treatments, which will be available.
