. October 14, 2008

EUROPEAN UNION, October 27, 2005. The Stein Group has added five more hotels to its already growing collection of luxury, boutique hotels. 'I am confident that we will reach our goal of having 25 hotels within the next five years,' says David Stein, CEO of the luxury hotel company he founded in 1999.

The group currently has a total of 11 hotels across Europe. Seven of these are located in the most frequently visited cities in Europe: The College Hotel and The Dylan in Amsterdam, Durley House and the Cadogan in London, Le Colbert in Paris, Brownes in Dublin and Gran Hotel La Florida in Barcelona. The others are in European leisure destinations including The Stein Group's first property Gran Hotel Son Net in Mallorca, the recently acquired Casa Angelina on the Amalfi Coast and the Port Palace Hotel in Monaco which joins the group's other C^ote d'Azur property, Ch^ateau Eza in Eze Village.

This coming February The Stein Group will open its 12th hotel, Gran Hotel Son Julia in Mallorca. A 15th century mansion, the Son Julia is located in Llucmajor in the centre of the island and will open with 24 individually-designed rooms and suites, each with private balconies, terraces and spacious bathrooms (a trademark of The Stein Group). The hotel covers more than 150,000m^2 and has an indoor and outdoor pool, main restaurant with 60 covers, banqueting restaurant with space for 200 guests, a ballroom with space for 300 guests, a wine cellar for private dinners and wine tastings for up to 15 guests, gym and beauty areas, extensive meeting facilities and tennis and paddle tennis courts.

Taking into account these new operations, in the space of three months The Stein Group has grown from 211 rooms to 451 rooms, an increase of 114%. The group's strategy has been to acquire both city hotels and resort-style properties in Europe and in the northern Mediterranean. Each Stein Group property has a unique character, style and design, personalised service and delicious food.

During 2006, as well as unveiling the Gran Hotel Son Julia, the group will also reopen the refurbished Alexander in Paris. The company is set on continuing its focus on management contracts and is looking to expand further into countries such as Italy, expecting to make further announcements this winter including the 2007 opening of Gran Hotel El Cortesin in southern Spain.
