MARCH 16, 2009 - Doubletree(R) Hotels proudly announces the opening of the Doubletree Hotel Columbus, representing another addition to the brand's fast-growing portfolio. The eleventh Doubletree in the state of Georgia is conveniently situated minutes from Fort Benning, Coca-Cola Space Science Center, the Civil War Naval Museum, the historic Springer Opera House and downtown Columbus commercial, entertainment and shopping areas.

Formerly the Columbus Airport hotel, the Doubletree Hotel Columbus is operated by Pezold Management under a franchise agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation. The hotel is managed by Valley Hospitality Services LLC.
