Crowne Plaza Opens In St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, MO, October 24, 2005. A 255-room Crowne Plaza hotel has opened here. The hotel is owned and managed by Bemiston Carondelet Corp. under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
Located at 7750 Carondelet Ave., the Crowne Plaza St. Louis- Clayton formerly operated as the Radisson Hotel Clayton. All guestrooms at the eight-story hotel have been renovated and a new $8.5 million Executive Tower was recently added.
The Crowne Plaza St. Louis-Clayton has more than 21,000 square feet of function space including 14 meeting rooms accommodating up to 700 guests and the 8,000-square-foot Top-of-the-Tower Crystal Ballroom.
R. Whitnah has been named general manager of the property.
