MARCH 12, 2009 - Having recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation program, the hotel is ready to welcome guests to its 198 refurbished guestrooms. Business travelers can conduct successful meetings in the properties' updated event space, while business and leisure travelers can enjoy the hotel's new dining options during their stay.

Easily accessible to California's major thoroughfares, as well as California's first inland port, the Hilton Stockton is operated by Stockton Hospitality LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacifica Host Hotels, under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.

'This property has undergone a top to bottom revitalization, even as the Stockton area itself has seen a noticeable transformation in the past decade,' said Jeff Diskin, senior vice president, Hilton Brand Management, Hilton Hotels & Resorts. 'We are proud of this addition to our portfolio and excited to get involved in the growing community within California's San Joaquin Valley.'

Business travelers visiting Stockton's growing number of corporate headquarters or taking a break from a long day on the road, can take advantage of the hotel's market/gift shop, complimentary business center and fitness center, all of which are open 24 hours a day. For meeting planners the property provides 13,000 square feet of meeting space, including 10 breakout rooms and a 400-person ballroom. Those hosting smaller meetings will also be able to experience Hilton's premier small meeting service for groups of 50 or less, Hilton Meetings, which is available at the property.

The property is a convenient base for visitors to the nearby University of the Pacific, and it's located within minutes from the Stockton Arena, Banner Island Ball Park, Bob Hope Theater and the Haggin Museum. Wine and food lovers will be in close proximity to the region's wineries and the hotel's variety of dining options means they won't have to go far for their next culinary experience. Both The Orchard Grill and the Canal Street Sports Bar are under the direction of Chef Mark Walker, who creates dishes that reflect local ingredients combined with traditional cooking methods. As a result, guests can indulge in dishes ranging from certified Angus hamburger to seared halibut filet with citrus zested prawns with capers.

Each guestroom is furnished with the Hilton Serenity Collection(R) of amenities, which includes the Hilton Serenity Bed with the Serta(R) Suite Dreams(R) mattress and box springs, Pacific Coast(R) down duvet, Super Topper mattress pads and top-quality linens and pillows. Standard amenities will also include the Hilton Serenity Bath Collection, featuring the exclusive Crabtree and Evelyn line of La Source(R) bath products, a Cuisinart(R) dual-cup, single brew coffeemaker and Lavazza(R) coffee, the easy-to-set Hilton Family alarm clock with MP3 player connectivity, high-speed Internet with wireless access, and a 32-inch LCD flat screen television.

The Hilton Stockton is conveniently located at 2323 Grand Canal Blvd, Stockton, California 95207-8233, only 45 minutes from the Sacramento International Airport and easily accessible to Interstate 5 and State Route 99, California's major north-south freeways, in addition to Interstate 80, Interstate 205 and Interstate 580.
