Morningbird Hotel Completes NaturCert Preliminary Diagnosis
JANUARY 19, 2009 - NaturCert announces the completion of the Preliminary Diagnosis of the Morning Bird Apartment Hotel, in Dominica (Caribbean). NaturCert is the global independent organization which has developed the NaturCert Certification Program for the environment and society.
"The Morningbird Apartment Hotel is situated on the West coast of Dominica near the village of Mero. Only about a 20-30 minute drive from the capital city of Roseau , it is nestled on a hillside overlooking the peaceful, deep blue Caribbean Sea. One of Dominica's most beautiful 'black sand' beaches in Mero, is only 3-5 minutes on foot from the hotel. At just about a 5 minute driving distance both North and South from the hotel one may find two of Dominica 's 365 refreshing rivers. The 'Layou River' which is Dominica 's longest river, and the 'Macoucherie River' famous for its sugar cane rum. The Preliminary Diagnosis is a service NaturCert offers to companies interested in being evaluated at a first basic level. Its purpose is to help companies evaluate their standing, regarding their performance in environmental protection and corporate social responsibility.
