Brian Johnson Named GM Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee
AUGUST 26, 2008. Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that Brian Johnson has been named general manager of Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee, Wis. In his new position, Johnson will be responsible for overseeing all member services and benefits, member relations, food and beverage, club management, marketing and sales.

Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Marcus Hotels and Resorts, Johnson was general manager of The Madison Club in Madison, Wis. for the past six years. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
In his position at Brynwood Country Club, Johnson will assume the responsibilities of Peggy Williams-Smith, who has been promoted to corporate director of catering for Marcus Hotels and Resorts.
