Americas Best Value Inn Adds 34 New Properties

. October 14, 2008

AUGUST 13, 2008. Americas Best Value Inn continued its record-setting growth by adding 34 new properties with 2,161 rooms in June and July. Of those properties, 21 were conversions from other brands, 11 were independents, and two were new construction. The brand expanded its presence in 18 states, with Texas experiencing the highest growth with nine new members. These additional properties bring the total number of new ABVI members to 86 so far this year.

"During the first seven months of 2008, we're averaging at least three new properties a week. This phenomenal growth is a testament to strength of our brand and its resources, as well as our innovative programs and unique Freestyle Membership Model," said Roger Bloss, CEO, President, and Founder of the Vantage Hospitality Group, the 12th largest hotel company worldwide and parent company of Americas Best Value Inn.

"As the first brand to introduce innovative programs such as offering our members the 100% ROI Promise and waiving membership fees for the first year on any new ABVI construction, hotel owners realize that Americas Best Value Inn is truly setting the pace in brand affiliation," said Patrick Mullinix, Vice President of Development. "We're the only major national brand that promises to deliver more revenue than our members pay. We also believe in jump starting our members' revenue, and waiving membership fees with the new Americas Best Value Inn Prototype Program has really made an impact. In fact, we've already signed eight new construction properties this year." This groundbreaking program allows owners to use the brand's 40- or 60-room prototype or design their own based on what best suits their market and budget.
