Buckhead America Corp. Changes Name to America's Best Franchising, Inc.

ATLANTA, GA, October 7, 2005. Buckhead America Corp., which franchises Country Hearth Inns, has purchased America's Best Inns & Suites from US Franchise Systems, Inc. (USFS), the company announced today. In addition, Buckhead America Corp. has changed its name to America's Best Franchising, Inc. to more accurately reflect its business activities.

"We are proud to announce this transaction and to add America's Best Inns & Suites to our portfolio," said Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of America's Best Franchising, Inc. and its subsidiaries. "This is a tremendous opportunity for our company. We look forward to working with franchisees to grow both our brands into prominent lodging systems, while maintaining our franchisee-friendly philosophy."

Officials at America's Best Franchising, Inc. and USFS look forward to a seamless transition. Going forward, all elements will remain the same through the end of the year, including reservations, which will changeover in early 2006.
