Vista Inns Supported by InnLink and Innformation Systems
Commitment to PCI Compliance
NASHVILLE, TN, July 18, 2008. At the VISTA annual conference located here, an educational session was held on PCI Compliance with speakers Kristin Intress, InnLink Central Reservation Services and Al Blazing, Innformation Systems. "Vista Hospitality Solutions is focused on ensuring our properties have the information and tools to be successful in understanding the importance and impact of PCI Compliance. This session with our strategic partners was a key step in providing that value," Kelly Harvel, Executive Vice-President stated.
"It really all comes down to the hotel processes," states Al Blazing, Innformation Systems, "You need a secure credit card process. All credit card numbers on a pms system should be truncated and all credit cards sent to the processor should be encypted. This makes the credit card process secure and the encrypted token is worthless for any one trying to highjack credit card data."
There is a lot of information to understand. "We provide appropriate resources and summaries of the requirements so hotels can get to the right information and processes," states Kristin Intress, InnLink Central Reservation Services, "As a hotel's partner we feel it's important to provide resources to assist the hotel in being successful - in reservations, revenue and PCI compliance."
