Phoenix Park Hotel's Joseph Zarza Named 2007 Full Service General Manager of the Year

JULY 9, 2008. Crestline Hotels & Resorts Inc. recently named Joseph Zarza of the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington D.C. as the recipient of the 2007 Full Service General Manager of the Year Award.

This prestigious honor was announced at the recent annual General Manager's Meeting at Barcel'o La Jolla de Mismaloya hotel in Puerto Vallarta. This award recognizes a full service General Manager with a combination of positive qualities including high scores on the Associate Opinion and Guest Service surveys in addition to achieving budgeted revenues and focusing on a profitable bottom line.

An employee of the Phoenix Park Hotel for 20 years, Mr. Zarza is also the Chairman of the Hotel Association of Washington D.C. and President of the Washington D.C. chapter of SKAL International. Prior to joining Phoenix Park Hotel, Mr. Zarza maintained positions at Sonesta and Fairmont hotels.
