Trust International Marks Successful First Half of 2008

7 New Clients and Increased Hotel Booking Volume

. October 14, 2008

FRANKFURT, Germany, July 2, 2008. Trust International completed an excellent first half of 2008 with the addition of seven new hotel group clients from Asia/Pacific, the Americas, Africa and Europe, and dramatically increased hotel bookings in numerous channels.

Client Roster Expands

Trust International, the leading provider of reservation services and distribution technology, is seeing increasing numbers of hotel groups switch to the Trust centralized reservation service (CRS) to realize cost savings and time-saving efficiencies.

"Our ever-expanding client roster confirms that Trust is on target with its global approach that drives product innovation for all clients, yet meets the local/individual needs of each hotel group in its specific region," stated Richard Wiegmann, Chief Operating Officer, Trust International.

He continued, "Our existing clients as well as those who recently signed up with us realize the tremendous value that our continuously upgraded, high-reliability, user-friendly system can have to their productivity and bottom line. They are appreciative that they aren't forced to migrate to a new unproven system, with all the training and lost productivity that this entails, in order to receive necessary enhancements. Our attention to each client's needs -- whether that be creating specific applications such as to accommodate special taxation rates in India or rolling out general product upgrades in a way that minimizes the need for retraining -- along with excellent customer service is contributing to our reputation as a worldwide leader in CRS and distribution services."

To continue servicing this customer demand-centric path, Trust is significantly increasing its spending on ongoing CRS development. Spending in 2008 will increase from $7.8 million USD YTD to roughly $14 million USD. The major investments will be in the continued development of Trust|Booker 2.0 IBE (Internet booking engine) and a new multi-lingual version of its Voyager CRS which includes an industry-leading fully integrated suite of customer relationship management (CRM) products. Trust also expects to roll out additional interfaces to property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS) and direct connects internet channels to further strengthen Trust's signature "one stop - distribute all" concept.

Bookings Increase

Despite the rising fuel costs and difficult economic conditions that many countries are facing, during the first half of 2008, Trust recorded a 50% increase in system bookings among hotel groups using the Voyager system as their reservations system for their own reservation office. Additionally, Trust achieved a 10% increase in voice bookings, a 15% increase in Internet bookings (primarily due to the new Trust|Booker IBE), and a 10% increase in Trust|Com commission handling.

Clients are recognizing that Trust's ability to help them set up complex rate structures extremely fast and efficiently leads to cost savings and more and faster bookings for those rates - significantly impacting their bottom line. Trust's intuitive, automated user-friendly system, where new negotiated rates loading is often completed in less than 24 hours and where profile data is available immediately, saves hotel groups considerable staff time and improves time to market. It provides a true advantage over providers that are stuck with complicated, time-intensive processes that frequently result in errors and delays in handling GDS rates.

"Trust is committed to helping find innovative ways of reducing costs for clients while continuing to deliver quality, state-of-the-art products and services in an effort to help all clients successfully overcome the particular challenges they face," observed Mario Bellinzona, VP Sales and Marketing for Trust International.

He noted, "We see that many hotel groups are re-thinking their current distribution set-up, as their need for client- and guest-centric products and true cost savings are more important than ever in all areas of distribution. It is proven that clients can improve their bottom line through the use of Trust products and services that allow quick and precise channel management, reduce process costs and allow the earliest possible guest recognition and more precise direct marketing."
