Country Inns Opens in Savannah Historic District

JUNE 19, 2008. Country Inns & Suites By Carlson Inc., The mid-tier lodging brand of Minneapolis-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide, today announced the opening of its 450th hotel. The landmark hotel, located at 320 Montgomery Street in Savannah Historic District, Ga., offers a prime location within walking distance to all of Savannah's historical treasures.
The grand opening ceremony of the new 101-room Country Inn & Suites hotel in Savannah Historic District will be attended by the brand's Executive Vice President of Franchise Operations, Steve Mogck; Hash Patel, president of Tara of Savannah LLC, the owner of the hotel; General Manager Andrew Collins and members of his staff. The hotel is managed by Tara Hospitality Corp.

The hotel offers a variety of guest rooms including standard king rooms, standard double queen rooms, and one bedroom king suites.
