LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels (LXR) has selected hospitality security leaders VingCard and Elsafe, both part of the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Group, as the sole preferred providers of electronic door locks and in-room safes for its hotels and resorts. Whether securing new construction developments or retrofitting existing properties, the partnership calls for LXR to install electronic door locks from VingCard and UL-listed in-room safes from Elsafe for unsurpassed security, efficiency and reliability.

One solution preferred by LXR is Signature by VingCard, a design-centric electronic door lock featuring minimal door hardware and designers' collection door handles. Signature was developed specifically to match any hotel environment while offering the same security and reliability that helped VingCard make a name for itself in the hospitality industry.

Electronic guestroom door locks from the Signature and Classic lines are compatible with magnetic strip and/or smartcard systems, which Freundlich says offers greater flexibility for hoteliers.

For its properties' in-room safe needs, LXR selected Infinity Digital by Elsafe, a unique line of safes combining aesthetically-pleasing Scandinavian design with heavy-gauge construction to provide the ultimate in security. In fact, Infinity was the first line of in-room safes in the world to pass the rigorous UL break-in test (1037 listing).

Infinity's modular design and reprogrammable electronics allow hoteliers to easily customize safe features or upgrade to new technology by simply replacing the safe's front panel.
