Sunstone Selects Cendyn & Newmarket

To Deliver Revolutionary eInsight and Delphi Integration

Cendyn, a full-service interactive marketing agency specializing in the travel and hospitality industry and Newmarket International, Inc., the leader in sales and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, has been selected by Sunstone Hospitality Management to deliver a robust integration between eInsightTM and Delphi(R), creating a guest analytic, forecasting and channel communications tool utilizing transient, group, sales and catering data.

The new integration between eInsight and Delphi product extracts data from both the PMS and the Delphi sales & catering system to give hotel management a more comprehensive data mart. The product identifies the most valuable customers and improves forecasting accuracy which can enable strategic planning of sales and marketing efforts to fill low-demand periods, help acquire new customers, and optimize rates. In addition to the rooms reporting for definite, tentative and prospects and leisure reservations, the tool includes data on function space, food and beverage revenues plus historical, pace and on-the-books data. Integrating this multi-prong approach offers in-depth profit optimization, ad-hoc analysis, decision support, forecasting and marketing strategy support.

eInsightTM utilizes Cendyn's existing eInsightTM tools using a CognosTM modeling engine plus the eContactTM module which automates personalized communication and manages email campaigns with integration to Google AnalyticsTM. Cluster modeling and communication using eInsightTM channel connectors allow email marketing, variable print direct mail and telemarketing sales strategies to be implemented with improved results due to access to a panoramic view of guest data that now includes both rooms and food & beverage components.
