Aimbridge Promotes Robert Burg to EVP, COO

Recognized for his Role in Growing Company from 8 Hotels in 2003 to 42 Hotels in 2008

DALLAS, TX, June 5, 2008. Dave Johnson, President and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, announces the promotion of Robert Burg to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Burg, who has been with the real-estate investment and management company since its inception in 2003, previously served as Senior VP of Operations.

"Following five years of unprecedented growth, Aimbridge Hospitality now boasts 42 hotels under management, eight additional hotels under development and more than $300 million in annual revenue," Johnson said. "Each employee has played an important role in bringing us to this milestone. Yet no one individual has played a more prominent role in our company growth and success than Robert Burg.

"Under Robert's leadership, we have accumulated a wealth of talent, camaraderie and outstanding financial results," he said. "That reason, and many others, has earned him this well-deserved promotion."

Prior to joining Aimbridge, Burg served as Senior Vice President, Operations of Wyndham Hotels and provided more than 12 1/2 years of experience in a variety of capacities.

Prior to leaving Wyndham, Burg lead the entire Summerfield Suites brand in operations, development, and revenue for the upscale, extended-stay product.

As EVP and COO, Burg will remain in charge of overall hotel operations and project development/capital projects. His proven track record of increasing market penetration and increasing GOP above industry benchmarks is expected to carry Aimbridge Hospitality to new heights.

With Burg in this new role, he said he expects the company to hit an 80-hotel portfolio sooner, rather than later.
