Growth Properties Converting Pennsylvania Marina Hotel to Clarion

MAY 20, 2008. Growth Properties Hospitality Management, a Pennsylvania based management company, announces the conversion of The Lagoon Hotel in Essington, PA to The Clarion Hotel at Harbor Point Marina. George Saba has been named General Manager and will assist Growth Properties on the conversion, as well as the operational management of the property. With this flag conversion, the Growth Properties portfolio boasts their 8th Choice Hotels International property.

The Clarion Hotel at Harbor Point Marina will undergo a full renovation to include 117 guest rooms and all public space. This waterfront property incorporates a working marina on site. After the total renovation, a state of the art health club, a high-tech business center, indoor pool and brand new meeting facility will be the highlights for the newly named Clarion. Guest rooms will feature flat screen televisions and all new FF&E. The hotel is only a short distance from the Philadelphia International Airport and the hotel will be offering an airport shuttle service.
