Waterford Appoints Jeffrey A. Roike GM of Hilton Hartford

HARTFORD, CT, May 16, 2008. Waterford Hotel Group has announced that Jeffrey A. Roike has been appointed as general manager of the Hilton Hartford Hotel. As general manager, Roike is responsible for all of the hotel's operations, sales and administration, as well as the more than 240 associates employed at the property. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. professionally manages the 393-room Hilton Hartford, which reopened in 2005 as a state-of-the-art, luxury hotel with all the benefits and convenience of a downtown location.

A 23-year hospitality industry veteran, Roike most recently served as general manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Hyannis Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Previously, he held positions at a number of full-service hotels throughout the United States, including general manager of the Sheraton Nashua Hotel, director of operations for The Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers, and general manager for Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel.
