Intercontinental Hong Kong Introducing New Outdoor Spa Cabanas

. October 14, 2008

APRIL 3, 2008. Following the completion of InterContinental Hong Kong's extensive five-year, $70 million renovation, the hotel announces an exciting addition to their leisure facilities: the private outdoor spa pool cabanas at the newly renovated Pool Terrace. A hidden oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation in the heart of the city, guests can experience the ambiance of a contemporary Asian resort without leaving Hong Kong.

The hotel's new outdoor spa pool cabanas overlook Victoria Harbour and offer exclusive holistic treatments by Ytsara of Thailand, using organic ingredients and traditional Asian philosophies and techniques.

Of the new offering, I-Spa Director Ina Soong says "Ytsara is a perfect complement to I-Spa's signature Oriental Healing treatments. We are the first in Hong Kong to offer Ytsara's Asian holistic healing treatments and therapeutic remedies. The Ytsara treatments, which were created exclusively for our new spa pool cabanas, use herbs, flowers and fruit from an organic farm in Thailand. The holistic healing philosophy of the Ytsara treatments includes specialized yoga-inspired breathing techniques, as well as stretching and the use of acupressure points for a unique Asian-inspired experience."
