Larry Cook Appointed EVP and GSM at Cypress
APRIL 2, 2008. Cypress Hotel & Spa, the leading designer and manufacturer of luxurious bathrobes, towels, slippers, and sheets for the hospitality and spa industry for over twenty-five years, today announced the appointment of Larry Cook to the position of executive vice president and general sales manager. Larry is based at parent company, Russell-Newman, Inc., headquarters in Denton, Texas, and will report to Gene Faul, CEO and co-founder of Cypress Hotel & Spa.
In his new position with Cypress, Larry's responsibilities include covering the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regional sales areas, as well as recruiting, building, training, and leading the existing Cypress national sales force. His ability to build strong customer relationships, analyze markets, and develop and implement business plans proved instrumental in Faul's decision to appoint Cook to this key management position.
