HOUSTON, TX, April 1, 2008... Benchmark Hospitality International, which operates luxury resorts, conference centers, and hotels throughout the United States and internationally, has announced the addition of Mission Inn Resort & Club to its management portfolio. Mission Inn Resort & Club is a destination property situated on Lake Harris in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, northwest of Orlando.

The 183-guestroom property is owned by an affiliate of The Beucher Family, a prominent residential and resort developer whose 40 years of experience in the central Florida market have created this spectacular destination resort. The property includes two of America's top rated golf courses and a residential community.

Mission Inn Resort & Club is Benchmark Hospitality's first property in the Orlando market, which draws significant resort and group business, and the company's third resort in Florida. Benchmark also operates Naples Bay Resort in Naples, and Costa d'Este Beach Resort of Vero Beach.

"Benchmark is extremely excited to enter the Orlando market with Mission Inn Resort & Club," said Burt Caba~nas, chairman & CEO of Benchmark Hospitality International. "We are very pleased to have been selected by the Beucher family as their operating partner for this remarkable resort, which for four decades they have developed and nurtured into a first-class destination." Caba~nas continued with, "Their endorsement of Benchmark as a managing partner who will deliver unparalleled expertise in the group meetings market coupled with extraordinary hospitality is extremely gratifying. We look forward to building on their long-term vision and the resort's success."

Bob Beucher, representing his family, stated, "Obviously after so many years of owning, developing and operating the resort, turning over the day-to-day management of Mission Inn was not an easy decision for our family. We are very confident that our partnership with Benchmark Hospitality will be of significant benefit to the resort, our staff, and our membership."

Mission Inn Resort & Club is a resort destination nestled in the rolling hills of northwest Orlando. The property boasts distinctively Spanish architecture, which evokes a countryside hacienda, and features 183 graciously appointed guestrooms and suites. Four restaurants and a lounge provide dining from casual to gourmet, including La Hacienda for breakfast and lunch, Nicker's at the Clubhouse for lunch and dinner, La Margarita Lounge for after hours, and the resort's fine dining restaurant, El Conquistador, which overlooks the Plaza de la Fontana.

Mission Inn Resort & Club's 20,000 square feet of gathering space is custom-designed for productive meetings, elegant weddings and special events of every kind. Nine function rooms provide the ideal setting for social occasions and corporate events. The property's meeting facilities are supported by individualized conference coordinators that are now complemented with Benchmark's signature conference concierge services. The resort's Outdoor Learning Center is one of the country's largest, most professionally designed teambuilding challenge courses.

Recreational amenities abound at Mission Inn Resort & Club, with eight tennis courts, jogging and bicycling trails, volleyball courts, an outdoor pool and a hydro-spa. The resort features a new, state-of-the-art fitness center. The El Cazador Trap and Skeet Range is available for resort guests, residents and private groups. A full service, resort Spa is currently under construction and expected to open in November.

Marina del Rey, the resort's nautical center on Lake Harris, which is Florida's fifth largest lake, provides guests with opportunities for fishing, sailing, lake cruising, charter boating and eco-touring. Specialty shopping and antiquing is available in charming Mt. Dora, central Florida's storied antiques capital, located nearby. Orlando's attractions are just 45 minutes away.

Taking center stage at Mission Inn Resort & Club amongst towering trees and sparkling, spring-fed lakes, are 36 holes of championship golf. The vintage El Campe'on ("The Champion") course, which opened in 1926 and is considered one of Florida's finest, was designed by Charles E. Clarke of Troon, Scotland. The course is in the Top Ten of Florida's more than 1400 golf courses. A second course, Las Colinas ("The Hills") opened in 1992 and was designed by former PGA Tour Player Gary Koch. Upon opening, the course was nominated as the "Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest.

Both El Campe'on and Las Colinas golf courses are rated some of "America's Top Courses" by Zagats. Opportunities to sharpen golf skills and improve one's game are available through Mission Inn's Golf Academy.

In addition to the spa construction, an extensive renovation plan is underway to freshen and refurbish all of Mission Inn Resort & Club's guestrooms and suites, restaurants and lounge, meeting and event space, and all public areas.

Those unwilling to leave the beauty of Mission Inn Resort & Club behind can purchase a vacation home in the resort's Las Colinas, a residential community situated in the tree-covered hills surrounding the property. The Mediterranean-styled community exudes old-world charm and captures the essence of carefree living with resort amenities, such as golfing, boating, fishing, fine dining and more.
