Magna Names Brian Dunne VPS&M
APRIL 1, 2008. Magna Hospitality Group, L.C. announced today the appointment of Brian Dunne to the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing. Brian Dunne replaces Felicia Comer, who was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

In his new role as Vice President Sales and Marketing for Magna Hospitality, Mr. Dunne will be responsible for the development of Magna's sales and marketing strategies, as well as the implementation of tactical plans to manage brand standards and promote individual hotel properties. In addition to sales recruitment and talent acquisition, he will oversee the direction of Magna's regional and hotel sales teams to increase hotel occupancy, exceed production goals, and maximize RevPAR. He also will be responsible for setting company-wide sales goals and evaluating revenue production.
Prior to joining Magna Hospitality, Brian Dunne served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Doubletree Metropolitan and Radisson Lexington Hotels in New York City. With nearly twenty years of hotel sales experience, Mr. Dunne has served as Director of Sales in local and regional roles for a number of prestigious hotels in New York, Chicago and New England, and has been responsible for national and international sales territories. The properties he has represented include the New York Hilton Hotel and Towers, Chicago's Fairmont Hotel at Grant Park, The Plaza and The Waldorf Astoria in New York City, and The Hotel Northampton in Western Massachusetts.
