Trust International Adds Support of Total Pricing for Amadeus

Becoming One of the First to Support Total Pricing

. October 14, 2008

ORLANDO, FL / FRANKFURT, Germany. March 26, 2008. Trust International, the world class provider of reservation services and distribution technology, added Amadeus to the group of GDSs for which the "Total pricing" feature is supported by the Trust|Voyager CRS. Users of Voyager can now take advantage of this GDS feature in Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan and Amadeus.

Total pricing, which is branded differently in all GDSs, enables the hotel group to provide a total price, inclusive of all known taxes, surcharges and extra option pricing, within one display. All room rate charges are included in the Total Cost of Stay quoted, eliminating potential customer service issues. Pricing options such as charges for children, cribs and extra bedding within an availability request can be returned. It provides agencies, tour operators and online retailers with the ability to interpret the information within the booking more easily, providing a total cost upfront which includes the more complex needs and occupancy requirements of the hotel guest.

Surprises for the guest at time of check-in are a thing of the past in a hotel participating in this GDS program. All hotel groups using Trust|Voyager CRS can now benefit from this new GDS feature - free of charge. The support of Total Pricing by Trust|Voyager CRS will lead to better customer service to the guests and time savings for both, hoteliers and travel agents as the number of queries about exact hotel rates and room rate information is significantly reduced..

"Our hotel clients and Trust's own call centers often receive calls from agents asking if meals are included or how VAT details are laid out. Total pricing provides all this information and makes it far easier for agents to book a hotel through a GDS," said Carina Stegmayer, VP Global Revenue & Distribution of WORLDHOTELS. "We are pleased that Trust supports this functionality with all GDSs, as it will help our member hotels provide a better service and accurate pricing to the travel agency community and generate more bookings."

"As the Global Distribution Systems are an important source of reservations for our hotel groups, our GDS strategy underlines our continued commitment to best in class functionality - supporting the latest enhancements in all GDSs," commented Richard Wiegmann, Chief Operating Officer, Trust International.
