. October 14, 2008

HOUSTON, TX, March 19, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has presented Bob Boyle, vice president and general manager of Turtle Bay Resort, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii, with one of its most prestigious awards - the "CEO of Sales" award. Sam Haigh, president of Benchmark Hospitality International, presented the award to Mr. Boyle at the Benchmark National Sales Education Conference held recently at The Heldrich in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

"Benchmark's CEO of Sales Award is presented annually to the general manager who exemplifies truly outstanding contributions and extraordinary support for his or her property's sales efforts," said Mr. Haigh. "I can't think of a better example of this excellence this year than Bob. We're very proud to present this honor to him in 2008!"

In honoring Boyle and his exemplary leadership of Turtle Bay Resort and its team of hospitality professionals, Benchmark Hospitality recognized the extraordinary performance of the ocean-front property - most notability occupancy improvement by 4.4 percentage points from last year and in the face of declining Hawaii-wide state visitor counts approximating 5 percent. Additionally, Unifocus, a company that evaluates customer service levels, reported that more than 96 percent of the resort's guests indicated they "would return and recommend" the Turtle Bay Resort experience.

"All financial and service level indicators are up at the resort for the fourth consecutive year," stated Mr. Boyle. "We have a very strong, experienced executive team at the helm and it is paying off. Our occupancy, average daily rate, revenues, and gross operating profit are higher than they have ever been in the history of the resort; and 2008 is projected to be even better."

As the economic engine of Oahu's North Shore, Tuttle Bay Resort's hotel, golf courses and restaurants provide 789 jobs in the community and the property is prospering under Boyle's leadership as a highly successful business, as evidenced by its recent awards and sales achievements. Turtle Bay Resort contributes over $20 million to the North Shore, Oahu community in wages and benefits annually plus an additional $18 million in purchased goods and services. The resort is host to two major televised golf tournaments annually that provide destination exposure and over $100,000 to North Shore charities through Friends of Hawaii Charities.
