MSRCH 11, 2008. The Resort at Pelican Hill has named veteran hospitality and travel industry executive Paul Ruffino director of sales, villas, announced Ellen Adelman, vice president of sales and marketing.

"With his diverse background and experience, ranging from the hospitality and travel industries to the entertainment world, we are looking to Paul to identify and develop markets as well as create strategic alliances to build a strong business base for The Resort at Pelican Hill's spectacular villas," said Adelman.

Ruffino comes to The Resort at Pelican Hill from Hospitality Management Services, Inc., which manages hotels and travel agencies and provides a range of related services, where he served as managing director and vice president of marketing. Ruffino has a varied and unique background in real estate, including providing production and location management services to some of the entertainment industry's most successful companies. He has also produced a range of entertainment industry awards shows, and currently serves as president of the Orange County Film Commission.

The 128 villas at The Resort at Pelican Hill will be the ultimate accommodations with every imaginable ultra-luxury appointment and the most comprehensive, innovative and ground-breaking program of special amenities, services, personalized options, pampering and individual attention of any resort in the world. The two-, three- and four-bedrooms villas, ranging from 2,193 square feet to 3,581square feet, will feature gourmet kitchens; private terraces with stunning ocean views; personal butlers, concierges and housekeepers; personal coordinators to fully plan the guest itinerary in advance of arrival and coordinate every activity during the stay; every detail personalized from the aromatherapy scents to the foods in the refrigerator and the flower arrangements; the gamut in technology including 60-inch flat screen HD televisions, Bose audio systems and MP3 ports; and appointments that are best of the best, from the interior finishes, materials and furniture to the glassware and china.
