Marriott Names Adam Sherer VP Marriott Execustay

WASHINGTON, DC, March 11, 2008. Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) announced today that Adam Sherer has been named vice president, Marriott ExecuStay, the company's temporary-housing brand.

Mr. Sherer joined Marriott International in 1996. In his previous roles at Marriott, Sherer has led efforts in new product development, brand acquisitions, market conversions, operations, franchise services, and the development of Marriott's temporary housing franchise program.

Sherer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and he holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School.
