CHICAGO, IL, February 27, 2008. Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE:MCS), today announced The Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile has received the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) 2007 Four Points(R) by Sheraton Property of the Year Award. The annual award is given to the Four Points by Sheraton property that achieved the highest rankings in four key areas of its operations. The Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile is owned and operated by Marcus Hotels and Resorts.

The Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile was selected from 125 Four Points by Sheraton properties in 21 countries to be recognized for its overall excellence. The Property of the Year Award is presented to the top-scoring hotel based on four criteria: revenue per available room (RevPAR), profitability, quality assurance and loyalty metrics from the company's Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) scores. In addition to the award, The Four Points Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile will also receive $2,500.
