Magnolia Names Three Executives

DENVER, CO, October 9, 2006. The Magnolia Hotels today announced two new appointments for the Denver Magnolia Hotel. Mark Wellbrock has been appointed Director of Sales and Jim Mascaranez has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage. Additionally, Dana Berry has been appointed Corporate Director of Public Relations for Magnolia Hotels, which has hotels in Denver, Dallas, Houston and Omaha.

Wellbrock brings more than 18 years of sales and operations experience in the hotel, multi-property and resort management industry, including 10 years as a director of sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as the director of sales for Doubletree Southeast and Doubletree Denver, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp.

Mascaranez comes to the Magnolia Hotel Denver from the Adam's Mark Hotel-Denver, where he served as Director of Food and Beverage for nine years. Previously, Mascaranez served as Director of Food and Beverage for the Inverness Hotel Denver Tech Center, where he handled all catering, restaurant and bar operations.

Berry comes to Magnolia Hotels from Centura Health, where she served as corporate spokesperson for the 12-hospital system. Berry's experience includes serving as Assistant Press Secretary to Gov. Bill Owens, as a media relations representative for the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center and as a travel writer for numerous publications.
